creative weekend #2 | making lots more awesome stuff with Bart's Blockies

WELCOME TO BARTOPOLIS

My kids and I spent the previous weekend designing cool toys with cardboard artist Bartholomew Ting's specially designed blocks. You can check out our earlier post here. This weekend, thanks to Bart and his kind team at Tri-Wall Creatives, we had even more blocks to work with! So check out the crazy creations below.

BARTZONE MECHA-BOT
This was the first thing my kids created on Saturday morning. I was so surprised when I saw this, I nearly fell over! It looked like it would come alive and romp around our living room.

ORIGINAL ROCKERBOTZ
This was our first RockerBotz, mostly created by my younger son. The guitar is an old Paper Jamz toy that my kids received as a Christmas present some years back.

ROCKERBOTZ DELUXE WITH DOGGY BUDDYBOT
And then RockerBotz received a new guitar, and a friendly four-legged sidekick too! It was a really cute upgrade.

 SUPER SCORPION BOT
After tea, my boys worked on this magnificent creature that took up most of our living room area. It looked very hungry and I was almost afraid it might try to steal our dinner.

BLOX BOYS
This is a big favourite! We'll be writing up some stories about these two characters. :-)
