Hi folks, I’ll be hosting a Google Hangouts on 01 Nov 2015, Sunday 8.30pm (Singapore time)

My guest will be Don Bosco! I met him early September this year at a writer’s event organized by Matchbox. He was one of the speakers there and it was great talking to him during the networking session. He currently writes stories for children and teens and in 2011, started Super Cool Books after his two sons challenged him to write a fantasy series for children, set in Singapore and Malaysia.

Long story short, we thought we should have a Google Hangouts session to share our ideas and discuss our experiences working in the creative industry as well as IP creation as a writer/artist. With the rise of new platforms that let people publish their work directly to audiences, it's a pretty awesome time to get creative!

Don will also be talking about his 100 Writers project as well as resources for self publishing e-books. E-books and other digital media has been on the rise lately, and some of the best content comes from these formats. The recent movie, The Martian, grew from an e-book on the Kindle platform and was later adapted into a full feature film directed by Ridley Scott.

We will also be GIVING away one FULL set of the Sherlock Hong series at the end of the event, courtesy of Marshall Cavendish! Details on how to participate in the giveaway will be revealed at the end of the Hangout.
