100 WRITERS _____ Passionate Pen 2017 story workshop — life is sweet when you fall in love with the children's book you've just started to write

NOTE: This post is part of my 100 WRITERS project.

We covered a lot at last weekend's Passionate Pen session. Like how to brainstorm new story ideas, how to turn this into your story logline, how to expand this into a synopsis, and more. Basically, how to write your own Super Cool stories. All the creative writing and publishing insights that worked for me, I was delighted to share with the happy writers who attended. The session felt like a lively software hackathon — within an afternoon, fresh story ideas were quickly developed into potential publishing opportunities. Everyone left with their creative dream captured on paper and still echoing in their hearts. For those who attended, here are some links below that you'll find helpful. I wish you all happy writing. May your new stories bring joy, wonder and companionship to young readers everywhere!
