Describe your style
I'll let my readers decide.

How did you get started?
I wrote a story about my son's encounter with a caterpillar.

Where do you get story ideas?
I spend a lot of time researching and interviewing the right people.

Pick one book of yours that kids should read
He's My Brother. Everyone knows someone who is a little different and quirky, but who loves them all the same.

Tip for parents, how to help kids enjoy reading
Read daily to them, from a young age, and be led by their interests. Oops, that's two tips.

Tip for aspiring kidlit writers
Don't be patronising when you write for kids. Kids smell that a mile away.

Your big wish for kidlit publishing next year (2020)?
For more Singaporean children's titles to be known internationally!
