Describe your style
They are adventuresome, nostalgic, moving and at times funny stories about friendship and time travel, set in Singapore.

How did you get started?
I was trying out different voices and this one clung on and wouldn't let go.

Where do you get story ideas?
Everything and everyone I encounter are put into a gigantic melting pot and stewed until I have distilled from them my little magical pills of story wonder.

Pick one book of yours that kids should read
Mount Emily - because the first book in a series is always a good place to start!

Tip for parents, how to help kids enjoy reading
"Show them you like reading too,
Which for your sake I hope is true.
But fake it if you really have to,
'Cos monkey see, monkey do."

Tip for aspiring kidlit writers
The moment you wake up in the morning, write down what you remember of the dream you just had. It could be the basis of a really awesome story!
